CMKC, Radio Revolucion.- The Guama municipality, west of Santiago de Cuba, is striving to exploit its fruit production potential.

Collecting, processing and commercializing fruit are basic aspects of Guama agriculture. Mango is a basic product in Guama, it is the leader in mango production in the province.

Lazaro Exposito, president of the Defense Council in the province, insisted on the participation of the mass organizations Federation of Cuban Women, (FMC in Spanish) Committee for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR in Spanish) and the Cuban Workers Federation (CTC in Spanish) in the fruit crop gathering to avoid losing a single fruit in the mountains, especially when we are facing such an international economic crises due to the covid-19 pandemic.
